Winners, losers in LI job market

Employment on Long Island was up last month by 14,700 jobs compared to a year ago, mostly on the strength of gains in the education and health services sector and the leisure and hospitality sector, according to the state's Department of Labor. The chart shows the overall jobs levels for 10 sectors over time (click any dot for label and details), and the table below gives details for the 2016 and 2015 levels.
