Manhattan U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood on Thursday ordered a postponement in the sentencing of former State Senate majority leader Dean Skelos and his son Adam on corruption charges from March 3 to April 4.
The postponement was requested by the Skeloses. They gave no reason, but said prosecutors consented to a short delay.
Dean Skelos, 67, and Adam, 33, both of Rockville Centre, were convicted in December of scheming to use Dean’s power to get Adam jobs and fees from companies with business before the legislature.
They both face a maximum of 130 years in prison.
