New Advice on Women's Cancer Tests
A government advisory panel announces it does not recommend routine mammograms for women under age 50.
The recommendation reverses previous guidelines, stuns women, doctors and politicians alike, and causes an uproar. Finally, government officials backpedal and say they will recommend the mammograms after all.
