A Rockville Centre doctor pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to being at the center of a decade-long conspiracy to collect fraudulent disability pensions for Long Island Rail Road retirees.

In the "breathtaking and brazen" scheme, Dr. Peter Ajemian systematically signed off on phony claims to supplement the workers' early-retirement pensions, according to U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara.
