A First Grade Thanksgiving
First Graders at West End School in Lynbrook dressed as pilgrims and Native Americans to perform a special musical play entitled “Thanksgiving Treasure,” in which they went on a treasure hunt to find the greatest gifts of all—family, friends, food, health, home and clothing. This annual West End tradition reminds students and their parents, as the busy holiday season begins, that the greatest gifts of all are those that money cannot buy. To illustrate this point, at the finale of the show, students held up posters they had made depicting all the things for which they are most grateful.
