Spread across the 238-acre campus, with a pinetum and a greenway. Specialized gardens include a sensory garden for disabled visitors with plants at wheelchair level and a water element for sound; the New American Garden on the north campus features easy-care perennials and ornamental grasses which are labeled. Guided map available. Bird sanctuary with waterfall and songbird study garden, open on request. Gothic labyrinth made from 40 feet of circular granite with parterre and knot garden; take a self-guided tour. Call to arrange tours. Annual Dutch Festival, First Sunday in May.
