The State University of New York in three years will be the nation's largest public provider of online higher education, Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher announced Tuesday.
The initiative, called Open SUNY, will begin next year and offer 10 online bachelor's degree programs, with an enrollment goal of 100,000 students in three years.
