Eighth annual garlic festival

Garlic lovers unite at the ninth annual Garlic Festival in Riverhead, which features a garlic-eating contest in which contestants must peel each garlic clove by hand, chew and finish before starting to eat the next one. Contestants are warned: Spitting anything out is an automatic disqualification.
