Murray was pronounced dead at New Island Hospital in Bethpage on Oct. 5. The Nassau County Medical Examiner's office is investigating Murray's death.

Farmingdale student dies while playing basketball
Farmingdale State student Dominic Murray was playing basketball on campus at about 8:30 p.m. Monday when he fell to the ground, officials said. He died soon after.
