East Hampton: Feed others; learn to cook
You can pick up a few useful cooking pointers and, at the same time, help others by signing up for cooking classes at East Hampton Point Restaurant. In a fundraiser for the East Hampton Food Pantry, chef Craig Attwood and pastry chef Tracy McHale will give two classes in holiday sides and pies, to be offered on alternate dates, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Nov. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. The $50 registration fee will go to the Pantry.
What's on the menu? Cornbread stuffing, wild mushroom and green bean casserole, sweet potato gratin, caramelized Brussels sprouts, fresh pumpkin and apple pies (from scratch).
Class size is limited. To register, call 631-324-9191.
East Hampton Point Restaurant is at 295 Three Mile Harbor Rd, East Hampton.
