Funeral held for man killed at Syosset LIRR crossing
In a ceremony steeped in both Catholic and military tradition, Michael J. Grande, the victim in last week's Long Island Rail Road grade crossing accident in Syosset, was eulogized at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Brookville.
Grande's coffin entered the cathedral draped in an American flag, and left accompanied by Patriot Guard Riders to the site of his entombment, Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury....
