Gov. Sarah Palin invited to Long Island
Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska, last year's controversial Republican vice presidential candidate, has been invited to visit Long Island next month by a group honoring Palin for her work on behalf of people with developmental disabilities.
Palin is scheduled to visit the East Coast in June, including a stop in Auburn in upstate New York, her spokeswoman said Thursday.
