100th anniversary party set
for LIRR station in Huntington
A 100th anniversary celebration for the Huntington train station building will take place in the front parking lot tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The 1909 building has recently undergone months of renovation and aesthetic improvements through work by the town, the Long Island Rail Road and Friends of Huntington Train Station (FOHTS), a community group formed last fall.
