$25,000 for Huntington Station
Business Improvement District

Assemb. Jim Conte (R-Huntington Station) and Senator Carl Marcellino (R-Syosset),  recently presented members of the Huntington Station Business Improvement District (HSBID) with a state grant for $25,000. HSBID is a group of local businesses that set aside money each year to help make improvements to the surrounding area to strengthen the local economy and promote economic development in Huntington Station. The grant will help HSBID make the area more visually appealing and will be used to purchase video cameras to improve safety and reduce crime.
