Artist to talk at the Heckscher Museum of Art

The Heckscher Museum of Art presents “Voices and Visions: Contemporary Artists / Contemporary Dialogue” with Victoria Carlin on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Carlin combines her academic traditional training with the fresh ingenuity of an impressionist, bridging the gap between traditionalism and impressionism, to create fine art for this generation and beyond. As an educator, Carlin has taught workshops in the United States and abroad. She is also a favored teacher at the Huntington Art League and The Village Artist.

Admission for non members $8 and members pay $5. For further information and  registration, contact: 631-351-3250 or visit

Michelle LaPorte is coordinator of public programs for the museum
