Starting with how to keep your "guy-friendly" pantry stocked and your freezer stacked, the author covers all the dos and don'ts of becoming an evangelist for the sit-down family meal. She shares her signature strategies and simple yet tasty recipes for hearty home-style dishes, such as an inexpensive, irresistible, slow-roasted, easy pork butt to a one-skillet chicken and how to turn leftovers into lunch. There are fast breakfasts, guaranteed guy grub (a "Blow 'em Away Burger"), and "no-junk" convenience foods like the Breakfast Burrito and Savory Chicken Pocket Pies-all made from scratch with healthy ingredients.
