Lions award for supervisor

Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone recently was awarded the Lions Club International Medal of Merit, the highest award given by the international service organization.

Petrone received the award from Al Brandel, immediate past president of Lions Clubs International, in recognition of the supervisor’s dedication to the community and adhering to the principles of good government and service to the community.  The president is the only person who can authorize the award.

Brandel presented the award at a meeting of the Melville Lions Club.
