Newt Gingrich in Huntington

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and co-author William R. Forstchen discuss and sign "To Try Men's Souls: A Novel of George Washington and the Fight for American Freedom" at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Book Revue in Huntington.

The store’s Web site says the book, published by Thomas Dunne/St. Martin's, “follows three men with three very different roles to play in history: General George Washington, Thomas Paine, and Jonathan Van Dorn, a private in Washington's army. The action focuses on one of the most iconic events in American history: Washington crossing the Delaware. Through the thoughts and private fears of these three men, Gingrich and Forstchen illuminate the darkest days of the Revolution.”

Book Revue is at 313 New York Ave.  Call 631-271-1442 or visit for more information.         (Gingrich -- AP Photo).
