Reptiles coming to Melville

The Long Island Reptile Expo slinks back to the Hilton in Melville on Sunday.  Breeders this year will be exhibiting ball pythons in unusual skin colors, such as pinstripe, caramel and lavender. Some of these rare snakes can be worth thousands of dollars, according to Bruce Lowder, owner of Putnam Valley-based Animal Encounters LLC, which runs the annual expo. Click here for the detaills.
