The Marines have added a graphic novel section

The Marines have added a graphic novel section to its flagship Marines Magazine, and are telling the story of Sag Harbor Lance Cpl. Jordan Haerter in only the second edition. Haerter was killed in Ramadi, Iraq, saving more than 100 Marines and Iraqi policemen on April, 2008 and was awarded the Navy Cross. The magazine comes out April 24. (Credit: Marine Sgt. Jordan Haerter, a 19-year-old Sag Harbor Marine, has died in Iraq. Haerter, a 2006 graduate of Pierson High School, was killed by a suicide bomber near the western city of Ramadi.
