This restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall, has a new name and new owner, but basically the same menu that includes marinated, juicy rotisserie chicken. Platters run about $9 to $12, with the most expensive thing on the menu at $14.50. It also specializes in six varieties of Colombian hot dogs -- some topped with steak and chicken. They run about $4 to $6 each. All entrees come with rice, beans, sweet plantains and salads. Takeout for La Fonda is almost as popular as dining in.
