Lacrosse manager with heart condition takes the field

Katherine Zisis, manager of Roslyn High School's girls lacrosse team, was only able to watch and cheer on her teammates from the sidelines because she was born with a heart condition called pulmonary stenosis. On May 4, 2013, about a month before she and other seniors are to graduate, the team got Zisis on the field, and she scored a goal helping the team defeat The Wheatley School, 13-8.
