50th

IRENE AND CHARLES COON marked their golden wedding anniversary June 17.

They celebrated with a renewal of their vows followed by a trip to Las Vegas

and the Grand Canyon, which also served as a reunion with their three children,

son-in-

law and grandson. Mr. Coon served in the military during World War II. He

is retired from Grumman. Mrs. Coon was a longtime employee of Sears. Formerly

of Cold Spring Harbor, they now reside in New Port Richey, Fla. The Coons enjoy

traveling and plan to continue celebrating their milestone with a gift from

their children, their first cruise, to the Cayman Islands and Cozumel.

MARY AND EDWARD ROBINSON celebrated their golden wedding anniversary June

17 at a dinner party with their family at Kenny's Cafe in Hicksville. Mr.

Robinson is retired from the Town of Oyster Bay. His hobbies include gardening.

Mrs. Robinson is a homemaker and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren

and making crafts. The Robinsons have three children and seven grandchildren.

Former longtime residents of Hicksville, they reside in Calverton.

45th

MARY AND HERMAN ESPOSITO, longtime residents of Old Bethpage, celebrated

their wedding anniversary June 23 at the Port Jefferson Country Club. A trip to

Hawaii is planned. Mr. Esposito is retired from AT&T. Mrs. Esposito is retired

from Macy's. They both enjoy traveling and fishing. The Espositos have four

children and nine grandchildren.

GLADYS AND CARMINE LAURICELLA celebrated their wedding anniversary June 23

with a renewal of their vows at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Holtsville

and a surprise "football" wedding hosted by their children. Mr. Lauricella is a

retired construction worker and enjoys helping friends and family with

carpentry projects. Mrs. Lauricella is a retired office manager and enjoys

cooking. Both enjoy traveling and spending time with family. The Lauricellas

have three children and three grandchildren. Formerly of Wantagh, the couple

recently moved into a new home in Holtsville.

40th

JOAN AND JOSEPH ANTERIO celebrated their wedding anniversary May 7 at a

luncheon hosted by their three children and seven grandchildren at Giorgio's in

Baiting Hollow and on a cruise to Bermuda. Both are employed at Lourdes

Industries in Hauppauge. Mr. Anterio enjoys swimming and golfing and is a

sports fan. Mrs. Anterio enjoys gardening, trips to Foxwoods and traveling. The

Anterios are residents of Leisure Glen in Ridge.

CAROL AND JOHN GEMBINSKI celebrated their wedding anniversary June 27 at a

quiet dinner with their daughter. Mr. Gembinski is a software engineer and

enjoys model railroading. Mrs. Gembinski is a former preschool teacher and

enjoys sewing. Both enjoy their cat "Pixie." The couple has two children.

Former longtime residents of Greenlawn, they reside in Huntington.
