CAROL AND GEORGE

MASCIOLI of Elmont were married May 28, 1949. They celebrated their anniversary with a weekend trip to the Catskills. Their entire family gathered at their daughter's vacation home in Jewett for fun and a special dinner at Vesuvio's Italian Restaurant. George was in the optical business for more than 60 years. He sold his business and is now a published author. Carol is a homemaker who loves to shop and is always preparing care packages for her two children and five grandchildren.

 

50th

RENEE AND STEVEN LESETZ of Old Bethpage celebrated their anniversary on June 27 in Aruba. Steve is a retired aeronautical engineer of Arkwin Industries in Westbury, and Renee is a retired foreign language teacher from the Hicksville school district. Currently they are both active as past district governors of Lions Clubs International. They are active members of the Plainview-Bethpage Lions Club helping the Lions EyeBank as cornea transporters and also working with children with diabetes at a summer camp. They have one daughter who lives in Oregon.

BEA AND NICK KAZANASof West Islip celebrated June 14 with family and friends at the Blue Lagoon Restaurant in West Babylon. Nick is a retired letter carrier of the West Islip Post Office and enjoys all sports. Bea is a homemaker who enjoys gardening, playing cards and trips to Atlantic City. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

BARBARA AND DICK

HUDSON of Rockville Centre were married on June 21, 1964. They celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Switzerland in May provided by their two sons. Barbara is a retired medical laboratory supervisor. Dick is a retired Apollo project rocket scientist from the Boeing Co. in Huntsville, Ala. They spend most of their time designing a log home to be built in Wolfeboro, N.H. They have one grandson.
