Frank-Mola

Diana Frank and Ronald Mola Jr. were married Sept. 3 at the Huntington

Townhouse in Huntington with a reception following. She is a unit receptionist

for Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park and is the daughter of Cheryl

and Steven Frank of West Hempstead. The bridegroom is a general utility worker

for Con Edison in Manhattan and is the son of Jackie Goldsobel of Franklin

Square and Ronald Mola Sr. of Cranford, N.J. The bride graduated from West

Hempstead High School, the groom from H.F. Carey High School. They live in Kew

Garden Hills.

Norment-Ransom

Edna Carolyn Norment and Ronald S. Ransom were married Oct. 9 at the

Congregational Church of South Hempstead. The reception was aboard the Nautical

Belle in Freeport. She is a former senior clinical supervisor for Berkshire

Farm Center and Services for Youth in Schenectady and is the daughter of Alma

Norment of Hempstead and Melvin Norment of Latham. The bridegroom is a senior

probation officer for the Virginia Department of Corrections in Chatham and is

the son of Ruth Ransom of Hempstead and the late Clem Ransom. The bride earned

a bachelor's degree from SUNY Old Westbury and a master's from Atlanta

University School of Social Work in Georgia. The bridegroom earned a bachelor's

from College of Wooster and a master's from Long Island University's C.W. Post

Campus. They live in Ringgold, Va.

Dato-Simmons

Christine Dato and Sean Simmons were married Sept. 17 at St. Thomas the

Apostle Church in West Hempstead. The reception was at The Sandcastle in

Franklin Square. She is a health-benefits administrator for the Town of

Hempstead Sanitary District No. 6 in West Hempstead and is the daughter of

Marie Dato of West Hempstead and the late Peter F. Dato. The bridegroom works

in the sewer maintenance department for the Village of Hempstead and is the son

of William and Claire Simmons of Hempstead. The bride earned a bachelor's

degree from Adelphi University. The groom graduated from Kellenberg Memorial

High School. They live in West Hempstead.

Oliver-Phelan

Debra Oliver and Gregory Phelan were married Aug. 28 at Newtown

Presbyterian Church in Newtown, Pa. The reception was at the Buck Hotel in

Feasterville, Pa. She is a kindergarten teacher for a private school in

Princeton, N.J., and the daughter of Nellie and Richard Oliver of Massapequa

Park. The bridegroom is a manufacturing engineer for Harold Beck and Sons in

Newtown, and the son of Antoinette and Edward Phelan of Newtown. The bride

earned a bachelor's in engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a

master's from Holy Family University in Philadelphia. The groom earned a

bachelor in engineering from Penn State University. They live in Feasterville.

Perfetti-Convery

Karen Perfetti and Brian Convery were married Aug. 28 at St. Brigid's

Church in Westbury. The reception was at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho. She

is a speech language pathologist for the Passaic Board of Education in

Passaic, N.J., and is the daughter of Susan and Anthony Perfetti of Westbury.

The bridegroom is an associate financial manager for Lucent Technologies in

Whippany, N.J., and is the son of Roberta and Joseph Convery of Wayne, N.J. The

bride earned a master of arts in speech language pathology from St. John's

University. The groom earned a master's in business administration from Seton

Hall University. They live in Montclair, N.J.

Scott-Maiale

Jaclyn Scott and Tom Maiale were married Aug. 13 at Mother of Divine Grace

Church in Cheektowaga. The reception was at Salvatore's Italian Gardens in

Cheektowaga. She is a home-health aide with family- care services in Buffalo

and is the daughter of Jim and Anne Marie Scott of Amherst. The bridegroom is

an assistant vice president for small business services at KeyBank in Buffalo

and is the son of Tom and Irene Maiale of Syosset. The bride is pursuing a

nursing degree at Erie Community College. The groom earned a master's in

business administration from St. Bonaventure University. They live in Amherst.

Signorile-Walsh

Melanie Rachel Signorile and Jeffrey Theodore Walsh were married Sept. 18

at Disney World's Italy Isola at Epcot Center in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. A

reception followed. She is a medical writer for the Cardiovascular Research

Foundation in Manhattan and the daughter of Helene and Stephen Signorile of

Manhasset. The bridegroom is a sales executive for Island Risk Management

Associates in Huntington and the son of Barbara Walsh of East Meadow and

Theodore Walsh of Old Bethpage. The bride earned a bachelor's in English from

the University of Pennsylvania. The groom earned a bachelor's in English

literature from Hofstra University. They live in Oyster Bay.

Solop-Myers

Brooke Solop and Lorne Myers were married April 3 at the Jericho Jewish

Brooklyn and is the daughter of Neysa and Arthur Solop of Wantagh. The

bridegroom works in finance and is the son of Patti and Fred Myers of Merrick.
