On Dec. 6, 1998, the McGrath family was photographed outside their Baldwin Harbor home, which was decorated for the holidays. In 1994 the family began focusing fundraising efforts toward the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of a neighbor's son, Bobby O'Mahony, center in red sweater, living with the disease. Family members, from left, are William, then 13, Daniel, then 11, parents Bill and Jill, Robert, then 7, and Stephanie, then 16.
McGrath family holiday lights
After more than a decade of lighting up their Baldwin Harbor block and raising money for charity along the way, the McGrath family has decided to sell their ornaments and discontinue their Winter Wonderland display after this season. Over the years, they're raised more than $100,000 for various charities.
