65thJANICE AND HARRY

GARSHOFSKY of Long Beach were wed Oct. 12, 1947. They celebrated aboard the Norwegian Star on a cruise to Bermuda. After Harry returned from service in World War II, the young couple married and moved to an apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Harry retired from Super Laundry Equipment in Woodbury, formerly in Oceanside. Janice was a secretary in the early years of their marriage. They have three children and five grandchildren.

50thKATHY AND LIBBY

SPENSIERI, residents of West Hempstead for 45 years, were wed Oct. 20, 1962, at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Elmont. They celebrated at a dinner with their three children, six grandchildren and friends. After graduating from high school, Kathy worked as a licensed beautician. Libby was born in Vinchiaturo, Italy, and came to the United States in 1957, working in construction in Manhattan. He later opened his own construction supply business, which he ran for more than 40 years until he retired. Kathy is an avid seamstress and enjoys making things for her children and grandchildren, including communion dresses and quilts.

40thCATHERINE AND ROBERT BARLICK of West Islip were wed June 3, 1972. A 10-day Hawaiian cruise is planned, hosted by their two children and their spouses. Catherine recently retired from Suffolk County as a data entry operator. Robert retired as a camera technician for Olympus Camera Inc. in Hauppauge. They have three grandchildren.

30thAMY AND DONALD

PRONIEWYCH of Medford were wed June 26, 1982, at American Martyrs Church in Bayside, Queens. They celebrated at dinner with their two children and their spouses. The celebration continued on an Alaskan cruise. Donald is a funds administrator for UFCW Local 342. Amy works part-time for the Patchogue-Medford Library and school district. They enjoy traveling and spending time at the beach.

25thNIALL AND DOREEN CROWE of Oakdale were wed Sept. 5, 1987, at St. Mary's Church in East Islip. They celebrated with a Mediterranean cruise. Niall is the owner of Lily Flanagan's Pub in Babylon. They have five children.
