80thBERTIE AND HERMAN

SOLOMON, formerly of Forest Hills, Queens, and now residing at Atria Great Neck, were wed June 3, 1933. They celebrated with family, friends and Great Neck Plaza Mayor Jean Celender. Bertie, 101, and Herman, 102, met as teens. Herman worked for Bertie's brother Leo in an electric contracting company. They have two daughters, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

60thEMILY AND JEROME FREUND of East Setauket were wed May 29, 1953. They celebrated on a family trip to Mohegan Sun, a gift from their children. Jerome is a Navy veteran who served during World War II and the Korean War. Emily and Jerome are both active members of Henry James Jones VFW Post 2937 in Medford. They have two daughters and one grandson.

60thMARY AND TOM PAPAZICOS of Franklin Square were wed on June 14, 1953, at St. George & St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in New York City. They celebrated with family at a luncheon at Jonathan's in Garden City Park. A second honeymoon to Greece is planned. Both retired, they enjoy spending time with family and friends at Parlamis Senior Center in Jamaica, Queens.

50thLYNN AND JOHN

KITTELBERGER of Ridge were wed May 4, 1963, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Flushing, Queens. They celebrated at a party hosted by their children. A family cruise to Bermuda is planned. John retired from the New York City Fire Department and went on to a nursing career. Lynn retired from Flushing Hospital Medical Center. They have three children and six grandchildren.

40thMILENA AND ATILIO

ZNIDARIC of East Northport were wed May 12, 1973, in Lyon, France. They celebrated at a party with friends and family. A Hawaiian Islands cruise is planned. Atilio worked for Grumman in Bethpage and retired from J.B. Tool & Die Co. in Westbury. They have two children.

40thTERRY AND RALPH GALLO of Williston Park were wed June 16, 1973, at St. Patrick's Church in Long Island City. Ralph retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Terry retired as a customer service representative. They have two daughters and five grandchildren.
