60thDOT AND TOM

COSTELLO of Bay Shore were wed Feb. 14, 1953, at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Bay Shore. A celebratory family dinner is planned. Dot retired as a teacher's aide with the Bay Shore school district. She enjoys the Brentwood Homemaker's Club. Tom is a retired supervisor from the U.S. Post Office in Bay Shore. He enjoys playing golf. Both enjoy the Brentwood Seniors Club. They have five children, 23 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

SANDRA AND ED GOLD of East Meadow were married June 7, 1952. Sandra is a volunteer bookkeeper for a nonprofit organization, and Ed is a retired schoolteacher. Both are heavily involved in volunteer work. Ed is a chef at the Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen one day a week. They have three children and three grandchildren.

57thMARILYN AND EARL ROMANO of Middle Island were wed Jan. 15, 1956, in Mount Carmel Church in Astoria, Queens. They celebrated with family at the Nissequogue Golf Club. Earl retired from the New York Port Authority Police Department. Marilyn is a retired medical secretary. They have three children, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

55thCATHIE AND BOB PORCELLI, 50-year residents of Merrick, were wed Oct. 12, 1957. They celebrated their anniversary with family. A cruise is planned for the spring. Cathie retired from Grand Union as a bookkeeper, and Bob retired as a film editor with WWOR-TV. They love traveling and spending time with their three grandsons. They have one daughter.

50thEILEEN AND JACK O'BRIEN of Laurel, formerly of Hauppauge, were wed Jan. 26, 1963, at Sacred Heart Church in Havertown, Pa. They celebrated with a Mass and a renewal of vows at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Mattituck, celebrated by Msgr. Joseph Staudt. They went on a family cruise to the Bahamas with their four children, their spouses and 11 grandchildren. Jack retired as a principal engineer at EDO Corp. in North Amityville. Eileen retired from the Hauppauge school district.

45thVALERIE AND GEORGE

KIRCHMANN of Massapequa Park were married Nov. 25, 1967, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manhattan. They celebrated with a trip to Bermuda and a party at the Milleridge Inn in Jericho. Valerie is a registered nurse at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, and George is a retired compensation manager. They have four children and six grandchildren.
