60thJOAN AND MIKE FRISOLI of New Hyde Park were wed Sept. 7, 1953, at St. Pancras Church in Glendale, Queens. They celebrated with a family dinner at Uncle Bacala's in Garden City Park. Mike is a Navy veteran and chaplain of American Legion Post 144. He retired after 40 years with New York Telephone. They have three children and three grandchildren.

50thDIANE AND PAUL KOVACH of Syosset were wed July 6, 1963. They celebrated at a surprise party given by their three sons at the New Hyde Park Inn on June 29. The celebration continued with a family vacation at Woodloch Pines Resort in Pennsylvania. Paul is an engineer at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Diane is retired. They have three grandchildren.

50thMARIE AND LOUIS BASILE of Valley Stream were wed Sept. 21, 1963, at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in the Bronx. They have always had a passion for travel. They have two daughters and four grandchildren.

50thROSEMARIE AND JOHN

MACDONALDof Kings Park were wed Aug. 3, 1963. They celebrated with a trip to Virginia Beach, Va. Rosemarie is a retired preschool teacher. John is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He worked on the lunar module for Grumman, then for Pan American World Airways and retired from the New York City Transit Authority. They have two children and four grandchildren.

45thBETTY AND BRUCE STREGERof Farmingville were wed June 15, 1968, at B'nai Israel Jewish Center in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a weekend trip to Cape May, N.J. A Caribbean cruise is planned. Bruce retired from MTA Buses as a safety and security officer. Betty retired as a medical receptionist. They have four children and five grandchildren.

25thTERRI AND GERARD LESTER of Plainview were wed Sept. 11, 1988, at the C.W. Post College Chapel. They recently celebrated with a cruise to Bermuda, where they honeymooned, a generous gift from their three children. Terri is a teacher in the East Meadow school district. Gerard is a lieutenant in the New York City Police Department.
