65thAUDREY AND EDWARD FREDERICK of West Hempstead were wed Nov. 29, 1947. They celebrated at Filomena's in Franklin Square with family and friends. Edward, a retired businessman, proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and remains active with his local VFW. Audrey worked for a local physician for 25 years. They have four children, 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
50thNANCY AND JOE PEPITONE of Coram, formerly of Brentwood, were wed Oct. 20, 1962. They celebrated with a party hosted by their daughters, their sons-in-law and grandchildren, followed by a surprise trip to Las Vegas. The couple have three daughters (their fourth is deceased), and 10 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
40thGAIL AND ARTIE TEDESCHI of Massapequa were married Dec. 8, 1972, in Netcong, N.J. Gail is a homemaker, and Artie is a retired sheet-metal mechanic from Local 28. A family vacation is being planned for spring that will include brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews. They have three children and one grandchild.
30thSUSAN AND DONALD DUBOWSKI of St. James celebrated their anniversary and Don's birthday Nov. 20. Don surprised Susan by having the captain of the Holland America VeenDam ship officiate at renewing their vows in a private ceremony in Bermuda. They have one son.
25thSHERRI AND JAY APPLEDORF of Hauppauge were wed Nov. 15, 1987. They celebrated at home with family. The couple met through the classified section of Newsday. Sherri works for the Hauppauge school district. Jay is an accountant in Farmingdale. They have triplets.
