64thGLADYS AND ARTHUR

BEHRMAN, of Dix Hills, formerly from Little Neck, Queens, met on a blind date and were wed April 22, 1948. They celebrated with a family dinner at home. Gladys retired as an office manager. Arthur retired from the hardware store he owned in Jamaica, Queens. They have a son (another is deceased), five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

60thROSEMARY AND LOUIS

AMMIRATI, of Patchogue, were wed Aug. 31, 1952. They celebrated with a family vacation to Woodloch Pines in Hawley, Pa., hosted by their children. Rosemary and Louis retired from a food service business they operated for 18 years. They have six children, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

60thKITTY AND JACK SCHELLING, of Islip, formerly of Brentwood, were wed Oct. 5, 1952, in Our Lady of Mercy Church in Forest Hills. Jack retired as a detective sergeant with the Suffolk County Police Department. Kitty worked as a doctor's assistant in Hauppauge for more than 25 years. They have five children and eight grandchildren.

50thARLINE AND DONALD

CUMMINGS, of Deer Park, were wed June 23, 1962, at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Jackson Heights. They celebrated in Aruba with a renewal of vows on the beach followed by a family party. They met while working at the American Chicle Co. in Long Island City. They have five children and 11 grandchildren.

40thLINDA AND GEORGE EMOND, of Medford, were wed Aug. 5, 1972. They celebrated with a cruise to the Caribbean. George works for Stop & Shop in Bay Shore. Linda works for Bayport-Blue Point Public Schools. They have two children and two grandsons.

40thSONIA AND GEORGE

VILLANUEVA of Fort Salonga, formerly of Floral Park, were wed March 5, 1972, at St. Margaret Mary's R.C. Church in Astoria. They celebrated with a family dinner and a 14-day cruise to Italy, the Greek Isles and Croatia. Sonia is a hospital administrator at NuHealth at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. George is a retired operations manager for Bloomingdale's after 37 years. He is still active in his doo-wop singing career with The Eternals. They enjoy music, theater, travel and quality time together. They have two children.
