60thMARY AND AURELIO "LEO" ROMEU of Central Islip were wed Nov. 9, 1952, when Leo returned after serving with the Army in Korea. Leo retired from the New York City Department of Sanitation. They had two sons, one of whom is deceased. They also have six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

60thJOHN AND PHYLIS "DORY" SOLDINGER of Huntington were wed Sept. 24, 1952. They celebrated with family at One If By Land, Two If By Sea in Manhattan. The couple enjoy long walks and watching the Yankees. They have five children, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

55thELLIE AND TOM SYLVESTER of Northport were wed Sept. 14, 1957. They celebrated with family and friends at their daughter's home. Tom is a retired export manager. Ellie is a homemaker and volunteer. They have four children and four grandchildren.

50thFRAN AND TOM KILFEATHER of West Babylon and Safety Harbor, Fla., were wed Sept. 1, 1962, in Astoria, Queens. They celebrated with family and friends at the Snapper Inn in Oakdale. They renewed their vows in Rome on a trip to Italy. Tom retired from the carpenters union in New York City. Fran retired from the collating department at Newsday in Melville. They have four children and five grandchildren.

50thEILEEN AND JOHN LEIPPERT of Ronkonkoma were wed Sept. 29, 1962, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst. They celebrated with a family dinner at Sea Basin Restaurant in Rocky Point. John retired from the security force at Stony Brook University Hospital. Eileen works part-time at Connetquot Library in Bohemia. They have two sons and three grandchildren.

25thROBIN AND BRIAN SIPPEL of Selden were wed Aug. 29, 1987, at St. Joseph's Church in Babylon. They celebrated with a cruise to Bermuda. Brian works for Canada Dry Bottling in Melville. Robin works in a doctor's office. They have one son.
