65thERNESTINE AND LEROI

RUSSELL of Lakeview were wed June 20, 1948, at St. Mark's R.C. Church. They celebrated with their four daughters, four grandsons and four great-grandsons. They met in Harlem in the winter of 1944, when LeRoi tried to pay Ernestine's bus fare. That day, she paid her own fare, but LeRoi eventually won her over. They married after a four-year courtship.

51stDONNA AND RICHARD KEANEof Selden, formerly of Brentwood, were wed July 7, 1962. They celebrated with a family dinner. The couple grew up in Bellmore. Richard retired from Brookhaven National Laboratory. Donna works at a doctor's office. They have five children, 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

50thJOHNNIE AND REV. ROBERT ALEXANDER, longtime residents of Central Islip, were wed June 16, 1963, in Baltimore. They celebrated with a weeklong trip to Barbados, a gift from their two children. The Rev. Alexander pastors a church in Wyandanch, where Johnnie serves as an ordained deacon. They have three grandchildren.

50thJOSEPHINE AND FRANK SPANOof North Babylon were wed May 26, 1963, in the Bronx. They celebrated with a party at Captain Bill's in Bay Shore, followed by a cruise of the Bahamas with family and friends. They were both born in Grumo Appula, Italy. Frank is a retired construction worker. Josephine loves cooking old-fashioned Italian dinners on Sundays. They have three children and six grandchildren.

45thVICKI AND NICHOLAS

ANNUNZIATAof Mastic were wed July 20, 1968, in Brooklyn. They celebrated on a cross-country train trip, followed by a cruise around Alaska. Nicholas is a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He retired from the New York City Transit Authority. Vicki retired from Chase Manhattan Bank in Manhattan. They have two children, a son-in-law and three grandsons.

25thJONI AND JIM MURTHAof Deer Park were wed June 25, 1988, at St. William the Abbot Church in Seaford. A family trip to Ocean City, Md., is planned. They have two children.
