65thALICE AND NICK DE SANTIS of East Norwich were wed May 9, 1948. They met at Nick's cousin's wedding in December 1945. Nick was still in his uniform waiting to be discharged from the Army 8th Air Corps' 92nd Bombardment Group. Alice worked as a secretary at New York Life Insurance Co. Nick retired from Con Edison with 38 years of service. They have two children and two grandchildren.

60thMARY AND ALFRED SCHRECK, longtime residents of Williston Park, were wed Jan. 24, 1953, in Brooklyn. They celebrated in Palm Beach, Fla., where they spend their winters. They also cruised the Caribbean with a group from their community club. A celebration is planned this summer with their four children, their spouses and seven grandchildren. Alfred is a retired detective with the New York City Police Department. Mary retired after 40 years as a first-grade teacher in the Hicksville school district.

50thVERSIE REE AND THE REV. BENJAMIN HILL of Central Islip were wed May 19, 1963. They celebrated with family and friends at Bethel AME Church in Bay Shore where they were married. The couple had two sons, one of whom survives, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

50thGALE AND RALPH LOPEZ of Ridge, formerly of East Meadow and Richmond Hill, were wed May 4, 1963, at St. Mary Gate of Heaven in Ozone Park. They renewed their vows at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island in Manorville, followed by lunch at Savino's Hideaway in Mount Sinai, hosted by their four children and their spouses. Ralph retired as foreman from the New York City Sanitation Department. Gale retired as a legal stenographer from the New York State Court System. They have 11 grandchildren.

40thPATRICIA AND MICHAEL POSTILIO of Shirley were wed April 7, 1973, in Queens. They celebrated with a candlelight dinner at Amici's in Mount Sinai. Michael works for Maharam Fabrics in Yaphank. Patricia is a homemaker. They have two children and four grandchildren.
