John is a retired physical education teacher and varsity basketball coach for Deer Park High School. Mary and John like to travel, and they swim daily. They have three children, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.

They celebrated with family and friends at Shinn Estate Vineyards & Farmhouse in Mattituck. Jim is a retired sheet metal worker with Local 28. Carol works at HSBC Bank in Melville. They have two children and two grandchildren.

TEMPERA of Sayville were wed May 1, 1983. They celebrated on a weekend in Manhattan. The celebration continued at a surprise party hosted by their three children. Jeffrey is vice president of human resources at Suffolk County Community College in Selden. Ayleen works for the Suffolk County Water Authority in Oakdale.

They celebrated by renewing vows at Assumption Church in Centereach followed by a dinner hosted by Janice's parents at the Bonwit Inn, where they had their first date in 1986. Their five children surprised them with a weekend trip to Cape Cod. Anthony is a registered architect and owner of Amari Design Associates in Lake Grove. Janice works part time at North Shore Wealth Management in Plainview.
