The celebration continued on a cruise on the Adriatic Sea with friends. Carmine retired as vice president of Lockwood Greene Engineers in Manhattan. Marie is a homemaker. They have four children and five grandchildren.

50thCAROL AND TOM CONLINof Lindenhurst were wed Aug. 10, 1963, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Copiague. They celebrated at a party hosted by their five children. Tom is a retired carpenter. Carol retired from Chase Bank in Lindenhurst. They have eight grandchildren.

50thANN AND JOSEPH FERMEof East Islip were wed Sept. 14, 1963, at St. John of God Church in Central Islip. They celebrated at a party with family and friends. Joseph and Ann owned and operated Ferme Fuel Oil Co. in Central Islip for more than 45 years. They have four children and 11 grandchildren.

50thJUDY AND LOU HAMERof West Babylon were wed July 7, 1963, at Our Lady of Grace Church in West Babylon. They celebrated at a party hosted by their two children. Lou is the owner of Empress Carpet Sales in Carle Place. They have four granddaughters.

40thMARY ANN AND RICHARD KIRCHNERof Ridge were wed Aug. 25, 1973, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Greenlawn. They celebrated at a party hosted by their two sons at a hall in Port Jefferson. They also have three grandchildren.

25thROSEMARIE AND TOM HURDof West Islip were wed Aug. 19, 1988. A trip to their second home in Cape Coral, Fla., is planned. Tom is the Northeast region IT director at Milliman Inc. in Manhattan. Rosemarie is a medical transcriber for a rheumatologist in Babylon. They have two children.
