LIRR derailment will affect morning commute, officials say

An LIRR train derailed west of Jamaica Station, which officials say is likely to affect the morning commute on Tuesday.

Crews were said to be working through the night to clear the tracks and make any necessary repairs, though cancellations were expected to affect the morning commute.
