The body of a man who had been stabbed multiple times was found Saturday behind a self-service laundry in Hempstead, Nassau County police said.

The man, in his late 20s, was found behind Laundry Palace, 416 Clinton St., police said. He had suffered multiple stab wounds, and police said his identity was unknown.

Police ask anyone with information about this case to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
