A verbal argument led to an assault that left a 27-year-old man injured and robbed Wednesday night in Great Neck, Nassau County police said.

Two women were arrested and charged in the assault -- and police said they are searching for three more suspects.

The argument began at about 9 p.m. between the victim and a woman identified by police as Brittney Williams, 22, of 51 Linden Ct., Roslyn Heights. That argument occurred at the man's residence, police said.

About 45 minutes later, police said Williams, Latoya Garza, 25, of 42 High Ct., Manhasset, and three others, went to the home, entered -- and assaulted the man.

During that assault, police said the man suffered injuries to his head and face resulting in blurred vision. About $500 in cash also was taken, police said.

Police said the man was treated at North Shore University Hospital. Williams and Garza were each charged with second-degree assault, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, police said.

Both were scheduled for arraignment Thursday in First District Court, Hempstead.
