Two Amityville men have been arrested on multiple charges, including first-degree robbery, after shooting a man Saturday in East Massapequa, Nassau County police said.

Seventh Squad detectives arrested Daron Morris, 33, of 12 Croyden Rd., and Tyron Doe, 25, of 11 N. Emerald Lane and charged them in the robbery and shooting of a 22-year-old man at about 8 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Clocks Boulevard and Oakley Street, police said.

The two, armed with a handgun, demanded money from the victim and then shot him in the knee, police said.

The two took cash from the man's wallet and then fled in a vehicle.

The victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken in a private automobile to a hospital, police said.

Seventh Squad detectives and Bureau of Special Operations officers arrested Morris on Wednesday, in Lindenhurst, on Bedell Street near Straight Path. Doe was arrested on Thursday in West Babylon, on Calvert Avenue.

Each is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and first-degree assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.

Both are scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
