Five Pearl Harbor survivors were honored for their service during a ceremony at the American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport in Farmingdale on Friday that paid tribute to the more than 2,400 American lives lost when Japan launched a surprise attack on the U.S. Navy base 71 years ago.
