Affordable housing lottery winner moves into own home

Raeshell Harris now will be able to host family gatherings in her own home.
The lifelong Roosevelt resident, 24, just bought a three-bedroom, 1½-bath Colonial -- with full basement, near where she grew up -- for just $152,000.
The affordable price -- half the market value for the area -- is a result of the Town of Hempstead's efforts and federal funds.
