Board of Elections workers and teams of lawyers continued counting absentee ballots Tuesday in tightly contested races for Nassau County executive, county comptroller and a handful of other races.

There was a brief flurry of activity at about 11:15 a.m. when the team at Table No. 4 reported an irregularity.
