A Bethpage man has been accused of swiping an iPad from a woman's home on Monday, Nassau police said.

Spyridon Mouzakitis, 41, of Broadway, visited the 23-year-old victim's home on South 2nd Street in Bethpage on July 1 at 10:30 a.m., police said.

Mouzakitis and the woman, who know each other, then left together. A police spokesman declined to elaborate on the relationship between Mouzakitis and the woman.

The woman returned home later that day and discovered her iPad missing. Detectives said Mouzakitis went back to the woman's home before her arrival, entered through an unlocked door and stole the device.

Mouzakitis was taken into custody on Saturday morning, at his home, where the iPad was recovered

He is to be arraigned Saturday on a second-degree burglary charge in First District Court in Hempstead.
