Broken rail near New Hyde Park fixed

A broken rail near the New Hyde Park station that caused Long Island Rail Road delays of up to 50 minutes east of Jamaica Thursday morning has been repaired, officials said.
The repairs were completed shortly before noon - and officials said all trains were back on or close to schedule.
