'Swatting' hoax in Long Beach

More than 70 emergency responders swarmed around a Long Beach home Tuesday, April 22, 2014, for what turned out to be a revenge hoax against a Call of Duty video game fan. Police say the eliminated player is a potential suspect, and could be charged with falsely reporting an incident and also be billed for an emergency response that cost about $100,000 in taxpayer money.
