Canine units make two arrests in Nassau
Nassau County police canine units made two arrests of suspects at a car lot and a gas station early Monday, police said.
In the first incident, at 12:50 a.m., officers on routine patrol in Uniondale saw a red Volkswagen near a Delta Gas Station at 510 Uniondale Ave. The police gave the following account of the arrest of Jonathan Salinas, 16, of 292 Maplegrove Ave., Uniondale:
