Carbon monoxide sickens 11 at Plainview eatery
Eleven people at a Plainview restaurant sustained carbon monoxide poisoning Monday night, and eight were transported to hospitals, officials said.
A 911 call from Ayhan's Shish-Kebab Mediterranean Restaurant, 379 S. Oyster Bay Rd., at 8:53 p.m. alerted emergency responders to a problem.
