Cellphones stolen in Massapequa burglary

Nassau County detectives are investigating a burglary of a Radio Shack store in Massapequa that occurred at 3:20 a.m. Saturday.

Officers responded to the store at 996 Carmans Rd. on reports that a large rock was thrown at the front glass door.

Police said the suspect or suspects entered the storage room and pried open a wooden closet, leaving with Apple iPhones.

The number of phones stolen and their value were still undetermined, police said.
